How Did Badger Get Its Start? Back in the mid-1990s, our founder Bill Whyte worked as a carpenter. His hands often split and cracked due to the frigid New England winters. One night, seeking a soothing solution, he mixed beeswax and olive oil to create a simple herbal balm. The balm helped his hands so much that he decided to share it with everyone he knew, and thus the Badger story began.
