Bee Naturals was founded in 1992 by Barbara Chappuis, a Registered Nurse, who was not getting the results she needed for her cracked, bleeding, and raw hands from the constant hand washing and harsh chemicals at the hospital. This experience led her to develop a line of skin and body care products that have a specific therapeutic purpose and are made with the highest quality ingredients that promote healthy skin and body for overall well-being.

We are 100% committed to formulating and producing these products, which are developed based on our clients' needs. While the term "all-natural" has become nearly meaningless, we formulate our products with ingredients that are the purest and safest we can source and that have a safe track record for topical (external skin) use.

Our products do contain chemicals, but these can be purer than natural sources (like oxides) and avoid heavy metals. We also use synthesized hyaluronic acid for better purity and ethical sourcing, and we skip nasty chemicals and non-renewables like mineral oil.

While not USDA certified organic, we prioritize organic ingredients, especially for oils prone to harmful residue (like sunflower oil). We source carefully to keep prices affordable for our customers.

Bee Naturals is committed to animal welfare and safety, and we never use ingredients from sources that don't demonstrate their commitment to animal welfare. We are Leaping Bunny certified as a cruelty-free brand.

Our products are gluten-free, but we have not sought certification as such, as it would drive up the cost of our products to a level we consider unacceptable.

Our Preservative-free Natural Ingredients in a beeswax base create a protective skin barrier and prevent transepidermal water loss. Our super concentrated, water-free formula stays on the skin longer than lotion and keeps hands protected from harsh chemicals.
